Hans Peter Fink combines traditional inn culture with creative ideas. He is assisted by qualified sommelier Mario Haberl, who can draw from a well-stocked wine cellar. Fink's delicacies are waiting next door.
We have always been open to new ideas here. Perhaps it’s due to the location of our inn, right on what used to be an old trade route. Farmers and travelers alike enjoyed stopping here to rest and dine at the inn. Today, regionality in the kitchen is no longer interpreted in a narrow sense. Head chef Hans-Peter Jr. is just as passionate about scallops as he is about Mangalitsa pork from the Vulkanland or guinea fowl from the French region of Bresse. For them, it has always been about quality and craftsmanship.
This is something Hans-Peter Jr. and his wife Nina also learned during their time at some of the world’s finest culinary establishments—from Waldhotel Sonnora (3 Michelin stars) to the legendary Tantris (2 stars), and the IGNIV restaurant (2 stars) by Andreas Caminada. Hans-Peter Jr. leads the kitchen together with Bernhard Steflitsch, while Nina works in service alongside Bettina, the host of the house. And this is reflected in both the wine list and the menu: cosmopolitan, creative, and crafted with a love for the finest flavors.
